Workshop on enforcement of child rights mechanisms in n Zekeria Rexha school

Gjakovë, 21 November - Nongovernmental organization “Syri i Vizionit” organized a workshop with “Zekeria Rexha” primary school council in Gjakovë on strategy drafting for better functionalizing of child rights protection mechanisms and their enforcement.
This workshop was considered very important by the school council, teachers, students and parents. They consider that it will help schools in developing functional mechanisms by creating safer environments within the school premises.
This workshop is part of the “Together 4 Children Rights- Child protection and Child Right Governance” project that is being implemented by the nongovernmental organization “Syri i Vizionit” from Pejë, with the support of Save the Children International and SIDA.
The project aims to assist children, schools and various organizations for child protection from violence, to turn the schools into safe places for children and help development and reinforcement of child protection mechanisms.
Similar workshops will also be held with primary school councils of “Ramiz Sadiku” and “Xhemail Kada” in Pejë, “Mustafa Bakia” and “Zekeria Rexha” in Gjakovë,  “Tefik Çanga” and “Jeronim De Rada” in Ferizaj and “Andon Zako Çajupi” in Mitrovicë.
