At the end of last year (2013) the project related to Drin River name and dedicated to the area and people living along this river and branches started implementing. Project activities are related to organization of Drin Day, which will happen in fall 2014. The project aims to raise people’s understanding about the value of this natural resource and ecosystems.
Civil society, local and national government of the Drin banks should build up an emotional and respectful relation about their river.  A wide range of cultural, sportive, educational and recreational activities with inclusion of devoted personalities might encourage the public to be active for Drini in their everyday lives.
