Manual on the work of Children’s Assemblies drafted

In this workshop, representatives of education from the municipalities of Pejë, Prishtinë, Mitrovicë, Ferizaj, Gjakovë, Gjilan, Prizren and Klinë worked on drafting a manual which is expected to clarify and facilitate assemblies’ work in the municipalities. It will clarify how Municipal Children’s Assemblies will operate, starting with the legal basis being worked with these groups of children so MCAs will have a formalized role which is based on the legal framework. The compiled draft will then be reviewed and supplemented by other stakeholders and MEST before taking the final shape. Syri i Vizionit is engaged in the program "Our Obligation for the Future - Child Protection and the Child Rights Governance" with financial support from Save the Children.
