School packages distributed for RAE community children

Istog, September 12 - The nongovernmental organization Syri i Vizionit drom Peja distributed one hundred and ten school packages to pre-primary, elementary and lower secondary school pupils of “Martin Camaj” school in Istog municipality in order to facilitate the education conditions for children of Roma, Egyptian and Ashkali communities of villages of Serbobran and Gurrakoc, who also attend this school.

Children and their family members were very happy about these packages since with this they managed to get equipped with necessary materials for starting the new school year.

These school packages are part of a European Union funded program “EU Support for Implementation of the Strategy for the Integration of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Communities 2- Education for Integration” (called EUSIMRAES 2), implemented by KFOS in partnership with seven organizations, including the Syri i Vizionit and the Kosovo Education Center (KEC) in Istog municipality.
