09.11.2022

Qendrim Mujaj, who belongs to REA community, is one of 50 young people who was certified by the Center for Professional Advancement in Peja after following a three-month course for chef at this center. The professional training of young people in skills that labour market is lacking aims to increase the opportunities for them to be employed one day, which is also the main goal of the project "Equipping, Empowering, and Employing Youth, Women and other disadvantgaed groups  in five municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo" which is being implemented by the organizations Syri i Vizioni, The Balkan Forum in partnership with the Municipality of Istog, and financially supported by European Union funds.

Qendrim is now feeling ready to actively contribute to the labor market, as do the other 42 young men and women from non-majority communities who benefited from trainings and certifications and are now qualified to work and hope that one day they will be employed, integrated into the labor market without being discriminated and treated equally.
